'My goal is to age well and enjoy experiences with my kids and husband. After 50, you realize exercise and diet are critical to achieving that and changes in your body mean consistency is crucial. I live by my calendar so I treat exercise and menu creation just like I do all my commitments; I block them out and schedule around it. For me, routine creates habits and over time, what felt like a chore shifted to become a necessity and a source of enjoyment on it's own. Plus, I can show off and harass my kids with how buff I am. So win win!!'

"I've always wanted #lindahamiltonarmsfrom the moment T2 was released they seemed to epitomize what I aspired to be: a strong, fit and fiercely independent woman. Looking in the mirror about a month ago, I realized I am nearly there. I am leaner, and feel physically and emotionally stronger, than I can ever remember being.
Rewind to May 2016. My health was going backwards at the same rate the number on the scales was going up.
I finally decided to tackle one change at a time. My first step was osteo and physio for my injuries. Next, I bought a10-class PT package with Speed Fitness, whose supportive and encouraging approach took into account my injuries and my extreme lack of confidence and gave me the support I needed to eventually join the group classes. I started to take care of myself, including my diet, making just one improvement each month to keep it manageable- eating breakfast, no processed food, no sugar, low carb and I started to feel better.
By June 2018, I had come so far. Bit while my health was under control, I remained exhausted and still couldn't sleep. The improvements I'd seen due to dietary changes made me think there was more to it than simply removing unhealthy foods and exercise. So I signed up for a 3-month nutrition journey with Tanya at FitFirmTrim.
Tanya's process of consultation and coaching, giving recipes and road maps (while encouraging me to embrace kale) was flexible and informative. A month ago I celebrated being nearly at my #T2arms goal on my final Skype consult.
I am on my way, with a new understanding of how my diet can help maintain my newly-regained health. And I am delighted to be a better role model for my kids, who are starting to consider healthier options for themselves."

“I am a doctor. I thought I knew what to do to be healthy. And “thought” is the correct word. Going through Tanya’s process was enlightening. In fact, even if I knew what to do I didn’t know “how” to do it. And that’s the real key. You need a plan and you need someone who can adjust it based on you. I’ve always wanted to be lean. I was never huge, but deep down I wanted to get lean enough to get a six-pack. I think what matters, too, is the the package. Three weeks doesn’t do it. This is a long term game. There are so many questions along the way that need to be answered. You have to make a shift in how you see and look at food. After 25 years of wanting a six-pack, I finally got one!”

“I was having stomach issues and low energy. Since I couldn't find a solution on my own, my frustration level was very high. Giving up seemed like the only solution. I found the FitFirmTrim program to be easy and something you don't have to think about. After a week or two I noticed my issues were gone. My sleep is much better and I now have more energy. My stomach problems are few and far between, and I lost 6 pounds. That number should keep going up.”

“I’m a 57 year old female. I work out 3-4 times per week and eat healthy. However I struggled to lose an unwanted 5 kilos and firm up in troublesome areas over quite a long time. I reached a point where I didn’t think it was possible. Tanya introduced me to intermittent fasting, increased water intake and a “keto-like” diet replacing dairy fats with mainly plant based fats. I also started weighing my food to better understand correct portion size. I dropped 6 kilos in just a few weeks by eating more food and following some new disciplines. Other health benefits followed - no sinus after being plagued for years, great energy level with no afternoon napping, no muscle fatigue after workouts and much better sleep. I dropped 2 sizes over a few months. Tanya’s approach is not just for those who are really overweight but also for those who are fit and healthy and still not achieving their goal to be the best version of themselves. No matter how well educated we are, the benefits are clear in working with a nutrition and wellness coach.”

“After 3 knee surgeries over 9 years I had been going in and out of physio and then not being able to do much exercise at certain times. I had along the way got back into my normal exercise, but then that got interrupted by more knee injuries. I was getting frustrated with not exercising and I had to give up playing touch rugby after my third knee op. Slowly, over time, I lost fitness and started to gain some weight. My diet wasn’t very healthy either and so I needed to reset everything and get my mojo back!
I weighed myself at the gym one day and was surprised to see that I had put on more weight than I had thought. That was quite the motivation point for me. I attended a presentation from Tanya at my gym which gave me the first step to get back on track. A weekly food plan appealed to me as that gave me a schedule and format to follow, which I really like. After about 4 weeks when I was getting into a routine with my food shopping, preparation and cooking I could feel my clothes fitting better. I was feeling healthier and less uncomfortable after eating and far less bloated.
I have learnt a lot about food and nutrition and it has enabled me to continue on my own with making good choices. Remembering some simple dynamics of food groups and timings and making healthy meals and snacks in advance to keep on track has been pivotal. I have actually really enjoyed the process and am motivated to continue to make good food choices and having a balance as I love food and enjoy eating out and not missing out on the things I love to eat. I have learnt for me, that moderation and balance is the key. Being more aware of what you are eating and how that affects your mind and body makes a big difference to health, fitness and general well-being. From working with Tanya, I lost 21 pounds.”
